How UV Works |

The SpectraClear vessel is easily installed in-line
just after your pools filtration system. As water
passes through SpectraClear, UV energy from a high
intensity ultraviolet lamp eradicates harmful
organisms. Since SpectraClear produces nothing but
light, there are no harmful residuals or side
effects, leaving your water safe, clean and fresh.

Ultraviolet emits a high intensity germicidal
light ray which alters or disrupts the DNA or
RNA of targeted organisms such as algae,
bacteria, and protozoa. The highly concentrated
electromagnetic energy also destroys organic
matter, eliminating the formation of dangerous
chlorine by-products. Ultraviolet light is part
of the electromagnetic spectrum that is
invisible to the human eye. |
